The owner's warm hospitality truly stood out, providing insightful recommendations on nearby onsens and dining options that enriched our stay and allowed us to fully embrace the local culture. The serene atmosphere offered a perfect respite from our adventures, and the abundance of public baths close by made every rainy day feel magical, especially while gazing out from the traditional Japanese windows. With its unbeatable value for money and the peace of mind that comes from a smoke-free environment, Happy Neko is a gem I wish I could revisit time and again. For those seeking an authentic escape in Beppu, this place comes highly recommended.
